Hand Tool Business Sale - A Unique Opportunity

After years of designing & manufacturing  premium woodwork tools we are now focused on leatherwear. We no longer manufacture hand planes.

We have never been short of customer demand.  We have many requests for our tools, almost daily.

This business is primed for domestic & international growth.

We have never publicly compared our products with Lie-Nielsen & Veritas, but our customers and observers have, and on many occasions preferred our tools.

We enjoyed taking on the might of Thomas Lie-Nielsen’s 80 or so employees & Veritas probably more. Not that our businesses can be compared volume wise. One person can operate this business with the required amount of enthusiasm, finance & business skills.

More than anything, we would love to see the tools we developed continue to be made available to woodworkers worldwide, under the Henry Eckert banner or another brand name. It took many years, significant financial investment, trial & error (lots of it!), supply research, testing, and more to produce our tools finally at a quality & design level that was competitive worldwide.

We are asking for Expressions of Interest for someone or a party that may wish to explore the purchase of this business. We will require signing of confidentially agreement prior to any discussion.
