Howard Adjuster

Howard Adjuster

Made in Adelaide.
Woodworker, teacher and author, Bob Howard invented the Howard Adjuster. They are manufactured by CNC machinery in Adelaide, South Australia.
Made from billet brass its feature is a sealed bearing that avoids the adjuster from ‘catching’ the plane blade causing it to try, or in fact move, sideways. It removes all of the friction between the adjuster and the plane blade to give silky smooth effortless operation. The diameter of the knurled knob is increased to give more purchase and particularly, more precise fine blade adjustment.
